Donate: Please support me I am a survivor of breast cancer for the past 6 years.I personally went through 2 1/2 years of surgeries and recontruction. It is a scary road to follow. I had a lot of support from family and friends. The staff and Volunteers at the the hospital in Marin, CA were amazing and very supportive. I would like an opportunity to give back. My Mother has CLL (chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia and Lymphoma. Have been currently helping with my Mother as needed. My own Mother has recently been at the Mayo Hospital in Phoenix, AZ. I flew there to help my Father take care of Mom. We worked in shifts to take care of her at the hospital and when she arrived home. I did this for 3 weeks. Still, I will need to help with her as needed. Have been a \""care giver\"" in the past for my previous Mother-in-law and Father-in-law. She had Altzheimers Disease and He had Dementia and Incontinence. Helped with both for 3 1/2 years. They lived with my Ex and I for that entire time in our home. We accomodated them by building a suite in our home for them. They both required around the clock care. It was very difficult, trying and required patience, love and the mind-set to be able to dig in a help in every way. I would like to volunteer with hospital patience or visiting cancer patience at home if necessary to help. I am not a trained nurse. But, I do have a great deal of life experience. Enough to be able to help. I believe in positive willingness to survive. I also have a great deal of life experience wth Fibromyalgia. I have had this disease for just about my entire life. The stages that I had to go through to somewhat overcome this and I was dedicated to seeking knowledge gaining information to help understand in order to aid in my disease. A will and desire to survive is one key in being sucessful in living with this disease. I have one of the most extreme cases and am able to live fairly comfortably with Fibromyalgia. Please let me know if I am able to help. My husband and I live in Ventura county. We own a CPA practice with offices in Ventura and Valencia. I have worked in our Practice managing our offices.
