Mission Statement: (See Web Site For Updated Information)
SIM: Serving In Mission has about 1,600 active missionaries, from 37 countries serving in over 40 countries in South America, Africa and Asia. We are made up of united organizations that began more than 100 years ago, including Africa Evangelical Fellowship, Andes Evangelical Mission, International Christian Fellowship and Sudan Interior Mission. Our field ministries work with about 15,250 congregations with about 9 million members and adherents. This evangelical Christian ministry needs physicians in family practice, internal medicine, pediatrics, ob-gyn, and general surgery for service projects in Africa, Asia, and South America. Short-term opportunities last from six weeks to two years. Long-term commitments are also available. |
