Junior/Student Volunteering
It is our philosophy that its never too early to start volunteering. Thats why we welcome junior volunteers between the age of 14 and 18 and student volunteers between the age of 18 and 25.

Junior/Student Volunteer Floor Assistant
Duties include messenger, clerical support, running errands, answering phones and call lights, filing, faxing and photocopying.

Junior/Student Volunteer Info Desk
Duties include greeting patients, assisting patients, escorting patients by foot or by wheelchair, answering phones, using a computer to verify patient room location, assisting with patient registration, distributing mail to patients, running errands for business office. Labeling, mass mailings, filing and putting packets together are also supported by Junior Volunteers.

Student Volunteer - - Emergency Department
Duties include stocking, changing and bagging linens, running errands to central supply, dietary, lab, medical records and pharmacy. Assisting (via wheelchair) patients to x-ray and maternity patients to labor and delivery, and assisting ward clerks/nurses as needed.
