These volunteers assist by transporting outpatients and guests throughout Summa Akron City Hospital. They also assist with stocking wheelchair depot locations and sanitizing wheelchairs. As a Volunteer Voyager, you will wear a pedometer and track your steps during each volunteer shift. With 2,000 steps equaling one mile, the collective goal is to walk from San Diego, California to Austin, Texas. You will: •Transport visitors in wheelchairs •Wear a pedometer •Report your steps •Get Exercise •Have fun Individuals must be friendly, courteous, and helpful to all guests Must have a good sense of direction and willingness to learn how to operate a pager. This volunteer opportunity is available Monday-Friday from 8:00am-12:00pm and 12:00pm-4:00pm. Join now before we set off on our next adventure
