Workshop Participant needed for
Opportunity Description: Medical students/residents can participate in the following workshops: 1. Short term visitors, less than 1 month: • The foreign medical school, with the assistance of MC and hospital directors, will match English speaking Cambodian and foreign students/physicians-in-training according to their level of expertise. The foreign visitors will accompany their Cambodian counterparts on their daily routines in government hospitals and observe clinical practices. 2. Informal training, 1 month minimum: • The foreign medical school, with the assistance of MC and hospital directors, will integrate foreign students/physicians-in-training according to their level of expertise. The foreign visitors will have the opportunity to engage in limited hands-on training as deemed appropriate by the hospital director and the clinical instructors. 3. Formal, elective training, 1 month minimum: • The foreign medical school, with the assistance of MC and hospital directors, will enter into bilateral agreements with foreign teaching institutions to offer foreign students/physicians-in-training a recognized elective rotation as approved by their own training program. A certificate of completion will have equivalent value of a rotation within their home program. Medicorps organizes a complete package, cultural and professional, for a reasonable fee.

Opportunity Description: Volunteer oversees all MC fudraising activities ranging from donation boxes to entertainment, special performances/events, medical/professional tourism etc. MBA or equivalent desirable, but not necessary. Volunteer should commit to 1 months minimum, no upward limit. Senior citizens welcome.

Opportunity Description: Maintains MC website with particular emphasis on the Medicorps Internet Relief Network, a proprietory platform for consultation request by foreign medical professionals to seek advice for complicate cases from Western medical specialis volunteers. The volunteer should be familiar with all aspects of web development, Java, MS Access, Dreamweaver, HTML, etc. IT degree desiralbe, but not necessary. Students welcome, may use project as thesis.
