The mission of Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is to improve the health of the diverse community we serve through excellence in patient care, education and research. Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is actively recruiting adults over the age of 25, as volunteers to serve their community at our hospital and thrift store. Inova relies on our dedicated volunteers to assist staff and visitors during weekday or weekend scheduled shifts in various departments and patient floors. Inova Fair Oaks Hospitals volunteer program is regarded as one of the top volunteer programs in Northern Virginia, and maintains the highest standards with its award winning patient care. Adult volunteers must be available for one shift per week and be willing to make a minimum commitment of 3 months to our program. Volunteers must also be in overall good health; be able to read, write and speak English; enjoy working with the public; be helpful and friendly; and be able to pass a criminal background check.
