Mission Statement: (See Web Site For Updated Information)
Mission statement: ?To provide quality health care services that improves the lives of the homeless and medically indigent people in our community.?
HCCH is a 501(c)(3), Federally Qualified Community Health Center that serves homeless and medically indigent in the Central Florida Area. We have a culturally sensitive multi-disciplinary approach that includes family health, pediatrics, oral health, behavioral health and optometry.
We have training partnerships with local programs including: University of Central Florida, Nova Southeast University PA Program, Seminole Community College, Central Florida Institute and Herzing College.
The need is great and our resources are few, so we look to volunteers providers to fill the gap. Our volunteer opportunities are as diverse as our services. In medical, we welcome: Physicians (MDs and DOs), PAs, ARNPs, RNs, MAs. In dental: dentists, hygienists and DAs. In the Central Florida Area there exists a dire need for mental health services for uninsured and working poor. We currently have only one paid LMHC. Therefore, we would be overjoyed to welcome physiologists, physiatrists, mental health counselors and social workers.
