Strides continue to be made in the medical care we provide. Our comprehensive cardiac care program remains a thriving one. We have earned Top 100 Hospital distinction from the Solucient firm for the cardiac and stroke services we provide, and have been recognized by another national ratings firm as well for our cardiac care, pulmonary services, and neuroscience (stroke) services. Our commitment to our community is evident in many other areas as well. Caring From the Heart As the most enduring hospital in the area, our proud, long-standing group of volunteers is part of what makes Charlotte Regional Medical Center so great. There are as many types of assignments available as there are volunteers, and there is ample opportunity to work directly with patients and families to help brighten their day and cheer their hospital stay. Opportunities for You There are also opportunities to work in the hospital gift shop or as a courtesy golf cart driver. If you or your spouse is a heart attack survivor, you can volunteer as a patient and family liaison in our Heart-to-Heart organization. Our volunteers are greatly appreciated and are rewarded for the thousands of hours they continue to devote to Charlotte Regional year after year. They are a vital part of our hospitals operations and a priceless resource.
