Work assignments are 4 hours per day, 5 days per week. Housing is your own room in a shared apartment with other Adelante candidates. Intensive Spanish language classes are included at the beginning of your program, plus excursions when you first arrive. This is a fairly customized program and process. Participation in this program will massively upgrade your Resume and provide the ability to become fluent in Spanish. All candidates have a Supervisor at their work assignments, plus an English-speaking Intern/Volunteer Advisor living locally. Positions in the Health Sector vary depending on location. Oaxaca, Mexico: Dental or Medical Clinic, Ambulance Service; Valparaiso/Vina del Mar, Chile: Hospital, ER, Paramedics, Physical Therapy; Montevideo, Uruguay: Hospital, ER, Ambulance Services. This is a fee-based program. Prices start from $1,650 for a 1 month program to $2,900 for a 3 month program. Longer programs are also available.
