Opportunities at Paul Newman?s Hole in the Wall Gang Camp for children with Chronic and Life Threatening Illnesses! 8-day volunteer opportunities are available at The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, serving children with cancer, HIV, hemophilia, sickle cell and other genetic blood diseases. Licensed RNs and MDs can volunteer in our infirmary. Nurses are responsible for administering routine and PRN medications, monitoring camper and staff health, and providing urgent care. RN licensure and current CPR certification are required. One year of pediatric nursing experience and/or heme-onc experience preferred. Cabin counselor opportunities are available to students in related areas of study. Counselors are responsible for the daily routines of 8 campers. Responsibilities include accompanying kids to activities, encouraging them to participate, and general camp fun! All positions are residential. This is a fun and playful environment and a great place to gain experience for those people just entering the medical field or to enhance your current practice!
