Companion Volunteer needed for 3 to 6 months Opportunity Description: Very flexible! Visit with our seniors in Nursing Homes and Assisted Living Facilities. Take them a card and some cake on their birthday or spend some time with them in their room. No required hours per week/just whatever time you can spare! Total Number of Volunteers Needed: 15 Find Out More	Respite Volunteer needed for 3 to 6 months Opportunity Description: Sit with folks at their home while their caregivers run errands such as grocery shopping, doctor's appt., or to have a break! Non-patient Volunteer needed for 3 to 6 months Opportunity Description: Send bereavement cards, make phone calls to families, or stock the medical supplies. We are a hospice provider which entitles families with loved ones who are dying to receive medical, social, spiritual, volunteer, and bereavement care at their place of residence (nursing home, private home, hospital). The Volunteer Program consists of companionship and respite care to families as well as special projects such as knitting or other crafts.
