Mission Statement: (See Web Site For Updated Information)
At Heartland Hospice we provide comfort care to patients and their caregivers in end-of-life care. Our volunteers are integral in our team approach to patient care. With the efforts of the medical director, nurses, social workers, aides, spiritual care counselors and bereavement counselors, and volunteers, we strive to deliver the highest quality of care to those we serve.

Volunteers play a vital role in offering comforting presence, holding a hand, sharing a story or providing relief sitting while a caregiver attends an appointment. This is an opportunity not only to support your community, but it will be a life-enriching experience. Prior experience is not necessary. Training is provided. Volunteers can expect the support of the entire hospice team while transitioning into the volunteer role.

Volunteers must be 18 years or older and successfully complete a criminal background check.
