Description of Activity / Trip : We will be providing surgical services and other patient care at a government hospital that services an area of 150,000 people. There is a brand new surgical facility as well as a new OBGYN clinic. The opportunity to serve is unmatched in East Africa.

Volunteer Needs : Orthopaedic Surgery Pediatrics Medical Student Physician Assistant Nursing

Description of Activity / Trip : This project primarily concentrated on general surgical care in a regional hospital. The team will be helping to provide surgical operations as well as pre and post operative care. The primary focus will be on augmenting services that are already provided, performing procedures heretofore unavailable and educating local medical support personnel.
